It's still made of the best possible aluminum, 7075-T6 Aluminum, but its updated design makes the clamp lighter and more aesthetic. The largest update to the Sylphe V2 is the most overlooked, the screws. They are now machined from Grade 5 Titanium 6AL-4V, the best titanium. This means weight savings and machining precision never seen before.
